Pujo is here

That time of the year when Kolkata really lights up, when there are more kolkatans on road than ever, when road side junk food is a delicacy - the time of Durga Puja is here. Today while driving to office, I could see the lights been put up on the VIP road in preparation, and thought to myself "Hope the rains don't spoil this one".

I have not been home for Pujo in last four years and hope to make this one special with all the celebs, dandiya raas, junk food and the night outs. I can remember good old days when close friends, all dressed in ethnics, used to go out for all-night functions and late night eat-outs at 'the azad hind' dhabha, the antakshari after we got tired from playing dandiya, the long drives and what not.

Just love the Pujas!!!
